You can permanently delete your Called Up Recruiting account and its data at any time. This applies to every account type — athlete, parent, college coach, team/club coach, and organization staff. One login can hold several separate pieces of access (for example a recruiting profile and one or more Called Up Dugout teams), so you choose exactly what to delete.
Option 1: Delete it yourself (app or website)
- Log in to your account.
- Open Settings (from the footer menu or your profile).
- Scroll to Account Actions and tap Delete Account.
- Tick what you want to delete. You'll see what each choice removes before you confirm.
- Type DELETE and tap the delete button. What you chose is deleted immediately.
If your login only has Called Up Dugout access (a parent or organization-staff account) and has no Settings page, use calleduprecruiting.com/account/delete instead.
Choose what to delete
- One Called Up Dugout team or organization. This removes only your access to that Dugout, plus the forms and documents you personally submitted there and your read history. The organization's and team's own content and records stay with the organization. It does not delete your Called Up login, your recruiting account, or your access to any other Dugout — you stay signed in.
- My recruiting account on its own. This deletes your recruiting profile (or college coach account) and any Called Up Recruiting team membership together, and cancels your recruiting subscription — the data described below for your recruiting side. It does not delete your Called Up login or any Called Up Dugout you belong to: you keep signing in with the same email and land in your Dugout. If nothing else would remain on the login, deleting your recruiting account deletes the login too.
- Everything and my Called Up login. This deletes your login and all the data described below, including your access to every Dugout. This is the only choice that always deletes your login.
Option 2: Ask us to delete it (no app needed)
Email support@calleduprecruiting.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Account deletion request,” or use our Help & Support form. To protect your account, we only act on requests we can confirm came from the account's email address — if needed we'll reply there to confirm. We then delete the account the same way Option 1 does and email you when it's done.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your login and your profile — name, email, phone, photo, bio, school, position, grad year, GPA, height/weight, and guardian contact details.
- Athlete stats and goals, Training Log entries, highlight videos, and video notes (video files are removed from our video host).
- Messages and voice messages you sent, your conversations, and notes or discussion posts you wrote.
- Your recruiting boards, tags, private notes, tracked athletes, events, schedules, and saved items.
- Files you uploaded — profile photos, logos, documents, and event images.
- Parental-consent records and agreement acceptances connected to your account.
- Any active subscription is cancelled as part of deleting everything. If you purchased a Called Up Dugout that other Directors or Admins still manage, it is not cut off: it finishes the season already paid for and does not renew.
- If you delete your access to one Called Up Dugout: your access to it, the forms and documents you submitted there (and the uploaded files), and your read history for it.
What stays, and why
- Records other people rely on. If you were a coach, athletes your staff tracks and offers made to athletes stay with your program. If you were organization staff, team content stays with the organization. If a team recorded a payment from your family in its Called Up Dugout, that entry stays in the organization's records without your name attached. Your name and account are removed from all of these, and they stay only as long as that program, team, or organization keeps them. A shared school logo other staff still use is kept.
- Accounting records. If your subscription payment earned a referral credit, the record of that transaction is kept for tax and accounting purposes, with your account and payment-customer link removed, for as long as those requirements apply. Called Up's own record of a Called Up Dugout purchase is kept the same way, with your account link removed.
- Email delivery log. A record of emails we sent to your address is automatically deleted within 365 days.
- Backups. Deleted data can remain in our encrypted database backups for up to 7 days until those backups expire.
- Payments processed by Stripe. We never store your card number. Our payment processor, Stripe, keeps its own records of payments you made under its own policies and legal obligations (see stripe.com/privacy) — Called Up Recruiting does not control how long Stripe keeps them.
Before you delete
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Use Settings → Export My Data first if you want a copy.
- If you are the only Director or Admin of a Called Up Dugout organization, appoint another Director or Admin first. Removing your access, or deleting your login, is blocked until then so the organization always has someone who can manage it. Nothing is changed while it is blocked.
- If you are a team's head coach, email support@calleduprecruiting.com first so we can assign a replacement head coach — the team, its roster, chat, calendar, and plan stay with the team. Then we delete your account.
- If you created your program's recruiting board and other staff still use it, the board is handed to another staff member automatically.
Deleting a minor athlete's account
A parent or guardian may request deletion of a minor athlete's account at any time by emailing support@calleduprecruiting.com from the guardian email on file.
You can also delete individual items — like a video, a Training Log entry, a stat, a message you sent, or an uploaded file — while keeping your account. See our Privacy Policy for more.
